TRAINING CAMP.
Danish international high-performance coach Dennis
Christensen is presently in
Organised by Badminton Malta with the support
of the Confederation of Mediterranean
Badminton (COMEBA) as well as of Badminton Europe, this training course
is primarily intended for the Association’s better junior players and their
respective coaches.
The training sessions are being held every day,
mainly at the Cottonera Sports Complex (Cospicua) but also at St. Aloysius
College (B’Kara). Each training session lasts two hours.
Every session integrates theoretical and
practical aspects; in this way, the participants can assimilate the latest
technical and tactical knowhow about the game.
During this intensive training course, Christensen
is focussing particularly on footwork and on deceptive strokes.
During his stay, Christensen will also be
visiting several local schools in order to promote Badminton among the students
as well as to assist and tra
in as necessary the respective PE
teachers.

his own country as well as in
